Surgeons Prefer OR's with SkyCeilings™

The Mississippi Valley Surgery Center in Davenport, Iowa is an ambulatory facility designed to handle scheduled surgical procedures. Patients are typically back home on the day of their procedure. Efficiency, skill and optimal organization contribute to maintaining the workflow at the center. Helping patients calmly enter their procedures, and rest well afterwards is also critical to the flow.

“The Personal Luminous SkyCeilings help patients relax,” says Nancy Jipp, Surgical Services Manager at the center. “When patients are relaxed, they experience less pain and recover faster. Therefore they leave the facility sooner, which decreases our personnel costs as well as the cost of supplies that we use to keep patients comfortable.”
