How EcoSlim LED Luminous SkyCeiling Work
1. Lighting System
Sky Factory EcoSlim™ LED lighting is an advanced edge-lit light guide technology that produces perfectly even illumination for the Luminous SkyTile. The low-profile package is only 3.5 inches (8 cm) deep, provides daylight quality light, is toxin free, and has an expected life of over 40,000 hours.
2. Image Tiles
Sky Factory Luminous SkyTiles™ are translucent, high-resolution photographic reproductions on acrylic panels that convey the color, scale and perspective of real sky.
3. Elevators
Patented Sky Factory SkyTile Elevators™ hold the SkyTiles and clip to the EcoSlim lighting unit above, creating the complete EcoSlim Luminous SkyCeiling package. The Elevator raises the SkyTile above the grid, creating a robust structural appearance, like a real skylight.
4. Ceiling Grid
Client-provided standard or custom ceiling grid.
