– Single InstallationsA single Luminous Virtual Window will transform enclosed interior spaces with photographic illusions of wild landscapes and other natural vistas in a window-like frame. These engaging representations of nature are not only beautiful, they trigger genuine relaxation and well-being. Confined spaces become more spacious feeling, inviting, and memorable. A Luminous Virtual Window’s slim design allows for surface mounting or recessed installation. They come in several sizes, from the smallest at 22”x40”, to the largest at 34”x63”. Several trim styles in various woods and brushed aluminum elegantly finish each unit.
How Luminous Virtual Windows Work

1. Trim
Trim frames come in several styles and woods, along with a contemporary aluminum option. The trim is easily removed for access to the image and lighting. 2. Cover, Image, Diffusion Panel The high-resolution photographic image is printed onto a sheet of translucent media with pigment inks for superior color and durability. The image is sandwiched between the diffusion panel in back and the protective acrylic cover on the front. 3. Edge Lighting Sky Factory's EcoSlim LED edge-lighting allows for the shallow depth of the unit while maintaining perfectly even illumination of the image. 4. Slim Case The aluminum housing is approximately 1-3/4 inched deep. 5. Wall Opening Luminous Virtual Windows can be mounted directly to the wall, but are most often set recessed into a rough opening that allows for them to sit flush against the wall. |
